Cultivating support, inclusion, and respect
Working toward a unified LGBTQIA+ community whose voices and needs are amplified to create a deeper understanding and acceptance.
Our mission is to cultivate a community that supports, includes, and respects lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and non-binary individuals and families.

“The Pee Dee is a growing region of South Carolina, and with growth comes more people, more diversity and more need for understanding. We want Pee Dee Equality to be an organization that can meet the needs of our growing diverse population, and partner with the communities within the Pee Dee”
— Ken Feaster-Eytchison

SCOTUS Watch
Friday, September 26, 7-8pm
Location: 2352 Presbytery Rd. Florence (New Harmony Presbytery)
Pee Dee Equality invites you to join us for a special community event on the United States Supreme Court and the crucial issues that may shape the future of LGBTQ+ rights.
The Supreme Court’s decisions reach far beyond Washington—they directly impact the daily lives of people here in the Pee Dee. From questions of free speech and religious liberty to healthcare, workplace protections, and equal access under the law, the Court’s upcoming term promises to touch on matters of urgent importance to our community.
Our featured speaker, Dr. Kyle Morgan (Assistant Professor of Political Science at FMU), a leading expert on the Supreme Court, will break down what cases are on the horizon, explain the Court’s dynamics, and discuss what we should be watching most closely in the months ahead.
This event is an opportunity to come together as a community, to learn, ask questions, and prepare for the challenges and possibilities ahead.
